Many of our clients are more than an hour drive from LPM, so we bring the store to them! Our experienced sales team travels all over Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana multiple times every year. We understand how important it is when deciding to purchase new equipment and accessories to be able to actually see, touch, and “try before you buy”. We do on-location demonstrations and training to save you from having to take time off for travel to our store. We even hold IIRC training classes in various cities in the NW. Everyone at LPM realizes the importance of education. LPM employees are proud that all of their co-workers have been certified in at least one area of cleaning and share this enthusiasm for knowledge with their customers. LPM provides a classroom and hands-on bimonthly seminars. We specialize in bringing in the industries best instructors to deliver the newest techniques in cleaning and restoration.

Marty had been in the carpet cleaning industry since he moved from Campbell, California in 1967 and started his carpet cleaning business. In 1974, Marty purchased Spokane’s first truck mounted cleaning system from HydraMaster. In 1978, he and his wife Diane purchased a re-upholstery shop and successfully combined the two businesses, specializing in fine fabric upholstery cleaning and repairs while raising their seven children. After identifying a need for a local friendly chemical supplier, they founded LPM Supply, Inc. in 1983. Marty became a Senior Carpet Inspector in 1990 and Marty served as President of the Carpet Cleaners Institute of the Northwest (CCINW) from 1993 to 1994. Over the past 30 years, Marty has volunteered for and been active on many industry related committees. Diane’s background as a bookkeeper and re-upholsterer gave her the advantage of learning a great deal about fabrics and fibers, which was a benefit with problem solving on the cleaning side. Diane originated the Carpet Cleaners Institute of the Northwest (CCINW) Carpet Cleaning College concept and was Chairman of the education committee for six years. She is such a strong believer in the benefits of ongoing education, that when LPM ran out of class room space in their building, they had an annex built, dedicating 1,200 sq ft to a fully equipped training center that incorporates a hands on Flood and Fire room for students to learn in.
